Based on this week's update from Dueotrope's Digest, MFA alums Rion Scott and Ryan Call each recently had short fiction accepted for publication -- Rion in Bewildering Stories and Emprise Review; Ryan in NANO Fiction. Congratulations, guys.

Gulf Coast Fiction Contest:
Gulf Coast magazine is now accepting fiction submissions of up to 7,000 words for their 2010 fiction contest. The entry fee is $20. The contest is open to postal submissions immediately and online submissions after January 1. Deadline is March 1st.
