Readings: Gravity Dancers and C. M. Mayo

On Sunday, July 19, at 5 pm at Politics and Prose Bookstore, poet and Gargoyle Magazine founding editor Richard Peabody will present, with several excellent DC-area writers, the Paycock Press anthology Gravity Dancers: Even More Fiction by Washington Area Women. The anthology includes Laura Ellen Scott’s short story “Moon Walk.”

On Monday, July 20, at noon in the Mary Pickford Theater, third floor of the James Madison Building of the Library of Congress (101 Independence Avenue SE, Washington, DC), C. M. Mayo, short story writer, essayist, translator, founding editor of Tameme, Inc., and instructor at the Bethesda Writing Center, will read from her novel The Last Prince of the Mexican Empire.
